A web site for Gregorious Thirumeni will be a best thing one can do . It will always be encouraged as lot of people are looking forward for it. especially youngsters, who have heard a lot about Thirumeni they would really love to get everything about thirumeni on the site. If any help needed I will be happy to do so in terms of photographs on different events. and as suggested by Fr. Abraham Thomas we should really look forward to get a better picture of Thirumeni in the mind of the youngsters who really adore Thirumeni as their Spiritual Guru.

Dear friend,

It seems to be a great idea to start a web site on Gregorios Thirumeni. But I think it need a quite extensive workshop and home works to avoid any sort of lame portrayal of Thirumeni. And I believe finance will not be a problem; we could find some of the well wishers of Thirumeni. Even I can help in locating some of the persons. But regarding the lay out, design and the very management we need to think a lot. Also it will be an ideal thing if we progress with a slow and steady way of doing the thing.

All this I said only as a modest suggestion and I do sincerely intercede to Lord Almighty for all its success.

Regards

Dear Joice,

I am excited to see such a beautiful site for Gregorios thirumeni. I sincerely appreciate your willingness and hardwork for such a great attempt. Thank you very much for including my article on thirumeni in the site. I am making a link to this site from the site of GSC. Similarly, please provide a link from there to the site of GSC.

Joice, please tell me how you manage the financial side of the project.

Do you want people start visiting the site right away, or want to wait until it is modified further? If you want people start visiting, we may make an announcement in the GSC yahoogroup.

Regards,

John Kunnathu

Dear brother Joice,

The website looks great! Thanks for your hard work. Once it is ready, would you announce it to the GSC by posting a message?

Regards,

John Kunnathu

Good website. Thank you. Is it possible to remove the java based photo gallery and make it simple HTML so that people can click and see each photo. Kindly add audio clips of sermons of H.G. Many in the younger generation never heard H.G.

Thank you,

Thomas

Dear Joice,

It is indeed a beautiful site. Especially the photo album. I have taken one or two of those photos. I have few other photos. Where is time to compile all these? Well, I congratulate you for the marvelous work! Gregory of India and Gregory the gifted all suits him very well. God bless your venture and let many learn from this site.

Dear Joice,

Thank you for all your work done in the effort to bring Paulos Mar Gregorios’s teaching and philosophy to the world. John Kunnathu has made a suggestion to start a more focused group specifically on his work. What do you think? I set it up could you assist?

your servant,

John-Brian Achen

Dear Joice,

I appreciate your great effort in collecting and compiling all books and articles of Gregorios Thirumeni. It requires a lot of commitments, energy and time!

There are plenty of his speeches on audio and video tapes and in archives of TV stations. Many of his letters are really articles. There are plenty of his activities in the WCC which should have records and not published. For example, the proceedings of the disarmament discussion under Thirumeni’s chairpersonship, of top Nuclear Scientists of Soviet Union and USA held in Moscow, Washington and in other places, his interaction with United Nations, etc. etc.

There are plenty of books and articles and speeches about him. It will be appropriate, if you start an effort to collect them also. God bless you!

Dear Joice Thottackad,

I have scanned also your earlier list for the newspaper article by Dr Paulos Mar Gregorios which I recollect reading many years ago. My impression was that this article was in the Times of India. But the only article I find published in a national daily in the period 1990-93 in your list is the one at 515 in the Indian Express, on “Sacred Roots of Secularism”, on 17 Jan 1993. I will try to check out this article. (If it is not too much trouble could you please post or fax a copy to me?) In the meanwhile, could you also check from your side whether you have missed out something?

The article I recollect reading praised Buddhism, and particularly Nagarjuna.

With good wishes,

C. K. Raju

Dear Joice,

Thank you for your letter. I read it only today. It is really a great job that you and Mr. John Kunnathu and Mr. Roobeen Jacob are doing. Please keep it up. I listened to his Malayalam tape.

Well, how much money you are looking for the immediate need to buy additional space etc. Such things should not be stopped. Please write the requirements. I may be able to reach the funds, wherever it is needed in this regard! God bless you!

Dr. Cherian Eapen, President, ROY Int’l Inc.

Good work. Keep it up and may God bless all your endeavours.

Benny

The commitment to popularise Paulose Mar Gregorios' thought and vision is praiseworthy. All those who are contributing to it are promoting a Global community of peace, justice and freedom. Wish that the Gregorian study circle could continue to serve God's Kingdom on earth with added vigor.

This last year has been a year of great joy for all those who love Gregorios thirumeni because of the initiative taken by Joice Thottackad to make the website http://www.paulosmargregorios.info. Joice had already proved his devotion and commitment by writing and publishing a huge biography of thirumeni. Now he is into an even greater venture—the website. May God bless him and his attempts! Joice, we are all behind you in your wonderful work! We, the friends, disciples, and admirers of Gregorios thirumeni, have a dream: In the coming years, more and more people will know Gregorios thirumeni, and will adopt his openness and his perspective. We like to see a new vitality in our community led by a few people who share the vision of Gregorios thirumeni. Let us continue to work together to make this dream come true.

Dear John Uncle,

..... I also went to PMG's website. The articles have been classified very well. Indeed it's worth the effort. I am planning to call up Joice and ask him to send me some articles of Mar Gregorios so that I can continue working on the site from here.

I am also trying to guauge the level of awareness about Mar Gregorios here. I will get back on that after I get some indications. I agree with your point that we need to carry his work to the masses. When I was talking to Coorilos Thirumeni, he said that the greatest ability of Gregorios thirumeni was that he could relate to the profound and the simple in an equally effective way. He said that if Mar Gregorios was going to a small church, he would talk to them in such a way that
even the "Mary Chedathi" sittting there would understand his speech. He would go to their level of understanding. That was one facet that I didn't know about thirumeni until Coorilos Thirumeni told me about it.

In this endeavour of reaching out to the masses, I think the website and your Power Point presentation would be very useful and an effective starting point.

I met with some evangelical friends of mine in Bangalore and we had a very long discussion, stretching into the night, about inclusive and exclusive Christianity. I wish Gregorios Thirumeni was around so that I could ask him some fine points. But at the end of the day, it's not the arguments but the life that we live that will reflect and show our faith and conviction and our love.

Dear John and Joice,

Thank you so much for the trouble and pains you have taken for the PMG site.

I spent hours and hours viewing the photographs and reading the articles/ documents/letters.

In fact I spent the whole of my free time at the site while at Hyderabad.

I am a silent fan and admirer of PMG. Frankly I still grieve his departure. I still am not able to forgive the Church that did not take care of him when he was sick as well as could not utilise him despite his making himself available. Rather it does not deserve to have him.

Sad for us. Sad for the Church.

Thanks and regards
